You can use the Neo Everyday account to pay bills. Go to the Payments tab in the Neo app or website and select Pay a bill to add a new bill payee and complete your bill payments.
Step 1: Add a bill payee
To add a bill payee, go to the Payments tab, select Pay a bill then select Add a payee on the Neo app or website.

To pay a bill from your Neo Everyday account, go to the Payments tab and select Pay a bill on the Neo app or website.

- Select a payee
- Tap Review and confirm the payment

You can only pay bills from a Neo Everyday account (not from a Neo Savings or Neo High-Interest Savings account).
Scheduled bill payments
If your bill payment is recurring, schedule at least 5 business days before the due date to ensure your payee receives the payment on time.
To schedule a bill payment, just follow the same steps as a one-time payment, then choose the frequency and payment date.
Cancelled scheduled bill payments
On November 20, 2025, Neo will update its bill payment provider. As a result, some of your scheduled payments might be cancelled if the payee is no longer supported. Check the full list of affected payees and follow the tips provided to make sure your bills are paid if any of your payees were impacted.
If one or more of your scheduled bill payments were cancelled, try searching for the payee under a different name. If the payee still doesn’t appear, Neo offers other ways to pay your bills.
Search for a payee under a different name
Some payees might appear under a different name due to updates to our payment service provider. If you can’t find the payee you’re looking for, try searching using another name. Once you find the payee, you can schedule a new bill payment.

- Tap Payments, select Pay a bill, then Select a payee
- Tap Add a payee and search for a bill payee (organization) using a different name than the one used previously
- Set the payment frequency and complete the scheduling

If your bill payees accept pre-authorized debits, you can set up payments by providing them with your account details.

Pay with your Neo Money™ card or credit card
If your bill payees accept card payments, use your Neo Money™ card or Neo Mastercard to pay your bills. If you don’t have one, get a Neo Money™ card or Neo Mastercard from the Neo app or website.

Send an Interac e-Transfer® to your bill payees
If your bill payees accept Interac e-Transfer®, use your Neo Everyday account to send transfers. If you don’t have a Neo Everyday account, sign up on the Neo app or website.

Contact your payee to confirm if they can accept Interac e-Transfer® as a payment method.
No fees for bill payments
The Neo Everyday account has no fees for making bill payments to your payees.
You will not receive a bill payment reference number
After paying bills from your Neo Everyday account, you will not receive a bill payment reference (confirmation) number. If you need proof of bill payment, view your Neo Everyday account statements and transactions on the Neo app or website.
To check your payment details, go to the Payments tab and select the payment you want to view. While you won’t be able to confirm if the payee received the funds, you can see if the payment was sent, canceled, or rejected. To confirm receipt, check directly with the payee.
How to cancel an in-progress bill payment
Scheduled bill payments that haven’t been initiated yet can be cancelled directly from the Payments tab in the Neo app.

Contact us to cancel bill payments that are already in progress.
- You can cancel bill payments created and sent on the same day by contacting us before 7:30 PM MT on that day (including Friday evenings).
Scheduled bill payments are initiated at 6:00 AM MT. If you haven’t cancelled before that time, you can still contact support to cancel before 7:30 PM MT on the same business day.
If you initiated a payment on a weekend or on a national holiday, you can contact us to cancel it until 7:30 PM MT on the next business day.
