Asia Miles are earned instantly when you make an eligible purchase with a Cathay World Elite® Mastercard. However, Asia Miles may be returned if a purchase is refunded or corrected. This keeps your Rewards Wallet in line with your completed purchases.

MileagePlus® miles adjustments
When you make an eligible purchase with a United World Elite® Mastercard, your MileagePlus® miles are instantly added to your Rewards Wallet and then updated in your United account at the end of the month.
Miles may be returned if a purchase is refunded or corrected. Your Rewards Wallet will be updated right away, and your United account will be updated at the end of the month.
If a purchase is refunded, you may notice an adjustment in your Rewards Wallet.
