Set up a pre-authorized payment
To set up automatic payments from your account, provide the service provider with your account number, transit number, and institution number.

Log in to the Neo app
In the Accounts tab, select an account
Tap Manage (in the top right corner)
Select Account details

Log in to member.neofinancial.com
Click on Money from the side menu
Choose the account you want to make payments from
Click on Details
Tip: Download a PDF from the Account details to easily share your account number, transit number, and institution number with your service provider.
Accounts for pre-authorized payments
Pre-authorized payments (also called pre-authorized debits, or PADs) can be set up from the Neo Everyday or Neo Chequing account. Each account has unique account numbers.
Did your pre-authorized payment not go through?
If a pre-authorized debit didn't go through, the company or service you're paying may still have your old Neo Everyday account banking details on file.
What happened
Neo Everyday account banking details were recently updated as part of a system migration. Any pre-authorized debit set up using your previous account number, transit number, or institution number may not process after May 29, 2026.
What to do
Find your updated banking details in the Neo app or on the Neo website.
Contact the company or service you're paying.
Provide your updated account number, transit number, and institution number.
Ask them to process the payment again.
Your Neo account is still active — this only affects payments set up using your previous Neo Everyday account details.
