Direct deposits into Neo Savings, Neo High-Interest Savings accounts, or JA Money accounts can be held for 3-5 business days.

Note: Weekends and public holidays aren't considered business days.

You can view the available, pending, and held balances from the account details of each account.

Void cheques for direct deposit information

To provide your direct deposit information, you can download a PDF with the account information for your Neo Chequing, Neo Everyday, Neo Savings, or Neo High-Interest Savings accounts (account number, transit number, and institution number). Go to your account details and select Download PDF and share it with your employer, government agencies, or other entities to set up direct deposit.

Direct deposit didn't arrive

If a direct deposit didn't land in your account, the sender (such as your employer or payroll provider) may still have your old Neo Everyday account banking details on file.

What happened

Neo Everyday account banking details were recently updated as part of a system migration. Deposits sent to your previous account number, transit number, or institution number may not process after May 29, 2026.

What to do

  1. Find your updated Neo Everyday details in the Neo app or on the Neo website.

  2. Contact your employer or the organization sending the deposit.

  3. Share your updated account number, transit number, and institution number.

  4. Ask about reprocessing timelines for the missed deposit.

Your Neo account is still active. This only affects deposits sent to your previous Neo Everday account details.
