Neo accounts have limits for different transaction types like Interac e-Transfer®, ATM withdrawals, card spending, and more. You may be eligible for higher limits as your standing with Neo grows over time.
Note: Details of any limits (like transfer limits or card spending limits) are available on the Neo Website.
Card transaction limits
Spending limits for card purchases
There are limits on the total amount you can spend every day using a Neo credit card or Neo Money™ card.
Credit cards
For credit cards, the spending limit is higher than the maximum credit limit (so it's only possible to reach the spending limit if you make an extra payment to your card and have a positive balance).

Tap limit: $400 per transaction

Frequently asked questions about account limits
Can I request to increase or change my transfer limits?
Can I request to increase or change my transfer limits?
No, transfer limits can't be adjusted upon request. If you’ve reached your transfer limit, you’ll need to wait for the limit to reset before making another transfer.
When do my transfer limits reset?
When do my transfer limits reset?
Your transfer limits work on a rolling basis.
24-hour limit: the total you can send within a 24-hour period.
7-day limit: the total you can send within a 7-day period.
30-day limit: the total you can send within a 30-day period.
As older transfers move outside those time windows, that amount becomes available to send again—unless it interferes with your 7-day or 30-day limits.
The monthly limit of outgoing Interac e-Transfer® payments (50) isn't a rolling limit. The limit resets at the start of each month.
