This type of change keeps your physical card, card number, credit limit, and account history exactly the same. Only your rewards rates update.
Cards you can choose from
If you're eligible, you can choose 1 of these options:
Gas & Grocery: Earn more on grocery, gas, and recurring payments.
Shop & Dine: Earn more on dining out and retail shopping.
Everywhere: Earn a fixed rate on all purchases, no matter where you shop.
Note: The default category for all cards is Gas & Grocery.
How to change your cashback categories
Open the Neo app
Go to your current Neo credit card details screen and select Manage card
Select Explore card options
Choose the card you'd like to change to
Review what changes and what stays the same
Confirm
The change takes effect immediately.
What happens when you change your cashback categories
Your new cashback rates apply right away — no waiting period
Your physical card stays the same — no new card is issued
Your card number, credit limit, APR, and account history all carry over
Any cashback you've already earned stays in your Rewards Wallet.
Your boost level (based on your Neo Chequing or Neo Everyday account balance) still applies
