Interac e-Transfer® requests can be cancelled if the funds haven’t been deposited.
How to cancel an Interac e-Transfer®
Neo app
- Log in to the Neo app on your mobile device
- Tap the Payments tab
- Under In Progress, view your pending Interac e-Transfer® requests
- Select a pending Interac e-Transfer®, scroll to the bottom, and tap Cancel

- Go to member.neofinancial.com and log in to your account
- Select Payments from the menu
- Under Pending, view your pending Interac e-Transfer® requests
- Select a pending Interac e-Transfer® and select Cancel
Important information
Pending Interac e-Transfer® requests
A pending Interac e-Transfer® is one the recipient hasn’t deposited yet. If the person to whom you sent the transfer has Autodeposit set up, you won’t be able to cancel the transfer.
There is no fee associated with cancelling a pending Interac e-Transfer®.
