Whether you have made a mistake or simply changed your mind, you have the option to cancel an Interac e-Transfer® if it is still pending. An Interac e-Transfer® is pending when it hasn’t been deposited by the receiver.
Deposited Interac e-Transfer®
In case the Interac e-Transfer® was deposited, the issue will have to be resolved with the recipient as the Interac e-Transfer® can’t be cancelled anymore.
Cancel a pending Interac e-Transfer®
You can cancel an Interac e-Transfer® from the Neo app or website.

- Log in to the Neo app
- Tap Payments
- Under In Progress, select your transfer and tap Cancel

- Click on Payment from the left-side menu
- Under Pending, select your transfer and click on Cancel
