Cancel an Interac e-Transfer®

Whether you have made a mistake or simply changed your mind, you have the option to cancel an Interac e-Transfer® if it is still pending. An Interac e-Transfer® is pending when it hasn’t been deposited by the receiver.

Deposited Interac e-Transfer® 

In case the Interac e-Transfer® was deposited, the issue will have to be resolved with the recipient as the Interac e-Transfer® can’t be cancelled anymore.

Cancel a pending Interac e-Transfer®

You can cancel an Interac e-Transfer® from the Neo app or website. 

Neo app

  1. Log in to the Neo app
  2. Tap Payments
  3. Under In Progress, select your transfer and tap Cancel

Web

  1. Log in to member.neofinancial.com
  2. Click on Payment from the left-side menu
  3. Under Pending, select your transfer and click on Cancel
