Who will be providing me with the replacement card for my Tims Mastercard?

Neo Financial is the current issuer of the Tims Mastercard. If you choose to move your card, Neo Financial will provide you with a replacement credit card. Based on your profile, you may be eligible for a Neo World Elite or Standard Mastercard that earns cashback. No credit check required.

If you do not want to move your card, you’ll also have the option to pay your balance in full and close your account.

When will the transition from Tims Mastercard to Neo Financial happen?

Follow the steps provided to transfer your transaction history, current balance, and available credit limit to Neo. This process takes a few minutes.

After October 1, 2026, all Tims Mastercard accounts that have not been moved will be managed through digital statements and phone support only.

Do I need to reapply for a Neo credit card to replace my Tims Mastercard?

No. You do not need to submit a new credit application. No credit check is required. A new Neo account will be created for you as part of the transition if you don’t already have one.

Will I get a new credit card to replace my Tims Mastercard?

Yes, you will have the opportunity to choose an eligible Neo cashback credit card that will replace your Tims Mastercard.

Your APR will stay the same, but your foreign transaction fee will increase from 2.5% to 3%.

If you carry a positive balance on your card that sits unused for over 12 months, an inactivity fee will apply. If there are additional changes in the future, you will be notified in advance.

Your Tims Rewards Points are still yours to use—they’re added to your Tims Rewards account as soon as you earn them. Your card will stop earning Tims Rewards Points when the program ends on October 1, 2026. Any pending transactions that have not yet posted will not earn Tims Rewards Points. Please note: All Tims Rewards Points expire 12 months from the month in which you earned them.
