Cheque deposits

At the moment, it isn’t possible to deposit a cheque to your Money account at an ATM or with the Neo app or website. Although cheque deposits aren’t available, you can easily make transfers to and from your account. We’re currently investigating this feature, so keep an eye out for more information!

How to transfer funds

There are two ways to transfer funds to and from your Everyday Spending account.

Interac e-Transfer®

Interac e-Transfer® requests allow you to make quick transfers using someone’s contact information. You can make these instant transfers from the Neo app or website. All you’ll need is the recipient’s phone number or email. Here’s how you can send or receive an Interac e-Transfer®.  

Electronic fund transfer (EFT)

EFTs are more commonly used for larger sums of money. This type of transfer requires 3-5 business days to process, and you’ll need is the recipient’s bank account details. Here’s how you can send or receive an EFT.
