Spend controls let you choose what types of transactions you can use your card for. Go to the Cards on the Neo app or website to manage online, tap, chip and swipe transactions, and cash withdrawals.
Manage your transaction settings
From the Neo app or website, you can manage the following card transactions:
Online
Tap, chip and swipe
Cash withdrawal
Neo app
Log in to the Neo app
In the Accounts tab, select your credit card or Neo Everyday account (for the Neo Money card)
Tap Spend controls and toggle the transaction types
Web
Log in to member.neofinancial.com
Click on Cards from the left side menu
Click on the arrows to select your card
Scroll down to see Settings and toggle the transaction types
Transaction types you can control
From the Neo app or website, you can control to block or allow certain transaction types on your card.
Online transactions
If you block online transactions on your card, no online transactions will be approved. To enable online transactions, select your card from Cards and use the toggle in the Settings.
Note: Pre-authorized payments won’t be blocked by disabling online transactions.
Tap, chip and swipe transactions
If you block tap, chip and swipe transactions on your card, no tap, chip and swipe transactions will be approved. To enable tap, chip and swipe transactions, select your card from Cards and use the toggle in the Settings.
Cash withdrawals
If you block cash withdrawals on your card, no ATM transaction will be approved. To enable cash withdrawals, select your card from Cards and use the toggle in the Settings.
